    Steve Martin Rocks Bilko

    If you remember the Phil Silvers show, you will appreciate this movie as a tribute to the original Sgt Bilko. And if you don't remember, thats fine, this is a stand alone great comedic act. My wife even loves it.

    Corny, campy, light-hearted fun!

    I waited 15 years to get this movie on DVD, and it was well worth the wait. Still as hilarious as the first time I saw it. This movie is not for stick-in-the-mud types who like to pick apart every detail or flaw, but simply good fun for 90 minutes for those looking for a good laugh. Try to read too much into it, and you'll lose the essence of the film. The original Phil Silvers skits were never meant to be taken seriously, and neither should this movie. Just enjoy it!
