Great novel by a break-out author. You feel like you are there.
The author is very descriptive of the times and the book held my interest the more I read it. Loved the story of a man whose "prison" is a luxury hotel and how he adjusts to the situation. His life is rich in relationships and the ending was a surprise. I read this originally as a library book but knew I would read it again for the richness of the writing. So, I had to have my own copy of this wonderful book.The author is very descriptive of the times and the book held my interest the more I read it.
