    HOW DID THE THIRD REICH COME TO BE & HOW DID IT FALL?

    Great DVD. The scenes are German-made and the narrative clearly explains how Adolph came to power, and how the 3d Reich eventually collapsed under the crushing power of the Allies. Well worth the money. Would be a great asset to a high-school's world history classes.

    Interesting in that it's made up mostly of home movies made by Germans before and during and after the war.

    I'm not happy that it's a double sided DVD instead of two DVD's, because there's no large labeling on a double sided DVD and I like to recognize DVD's at a glance. But it played well and I decided I didn't care enough to make a fuss.

    the best of third reich history

    if you are a fan of this type history you wont be disappointed. brings out great points. did you know that in 1935 time magazine selected hitler as man of the year ? great films of which many are from german cameras. great shots of the terrible suffering and carnage from this era. I watched this 3 or 4 times on the history channel and had to have it without commercials. I was very impressed.
