Steve Vai-The Elusive Light And Sound Vol. 1
This cd is just numerous music scores from movies that he did in the past. The music ranges from just ordinary, not so technical music to very terchnical, and inspirational guitar. There even is a part where it sounds like he is starting to play Kiss-"God Gave Rock n' Roll To You" on it, but he stops right after he starts playing it, and this sounds really cool from him. It is really cool from him because he does not usually play other people's music on his solo cds ever at all, and this seems like a first for him. You also can hear his voice on the cd, and he only has spoken one other time on his cds that I know of, and that was on the "Passion And Warefare" cd. Also, I have never heard tracks that were so short in time on any of his other cds. I mean ... This cd is just numerous music scores from movies that he did in the past. Very bad CD it insults the artist !!!
This CD does no justice for the Artist. A big let down for myself and for Steve Vai. Very unhappy with this CD. Steve Vai has so much talent, this CD just don't serve him any justice at all. Michael

Great CD
Being a die hard vai fan, this CD is great. only about 8 of the 40 tracks I actually like but then again, I bought it for only $2 plus $3 for shipping. so it was WELL worth it. great music and guitar playing by steve vai as expected. he's just brilliant on the guitar. These are songs that were taken from Movie soundtracks by the way.
