The overall size of the distributor body was smaller and the tubes on the vacuum advance were facing the wrong direction. I am have found several of these that say that they fit my vehicle. I have also found the correct one. I would like to share with you the link to the correct one. I will try. If you can look through the available distributors and focus on the vacuum advance unit.
