      Wonderful Tortilla Press!

      have several Victoria cast iron products, and they are all superbly made including the Victoria tortilla press. I used it to make homemade tortillas for the first time, and it worked wonderfully. Anyone who says they broke the arm on this tortilla press do not know how to properly use a tortilla press, and, therefore, break it through user error, not product design. Victoria is a great Colombian company whose products I trust!

      Totally worth it!

      Wish I got one earlier! This press is a life saver for anyone with tendonitis or carpa tunner injuries. I use it to make tacos, tortillas, naans, meat and cheese pockets, and even butter tarts and small pie shells. They come out perfectly round, even thickness, and the same size every time. And I don't have to use a rolling pin anymore.

      Get This One!

      Cast iron quality can vary, but this Victoria Tortilla Press is well cast and smooooth! I'm new to tortilla making, but they come out just fine. I have heard of handles breaking on some tortilla presses, but not much force is needed on this one. In fact, when I press a little too much, they are too thin to transfer to the "comal" without breaking. I like the 8" size press, since the size of the masa ball is what determines the size of the finished product. A smaller press would limit the size of the tortilla. It looks, feels and performs like Quality.

      Very useful kitchen tool

      It is solid cast iron and should last a long time like my other cast iron cookware. I've used it for flour & corn tortillas and they turned out great. I can now make breakfast tacos for a fraction of restaurant prices.
