  • Best version of original Kong available that I've seen

Simply one of the best motion pictures of all time. Also one of the most groundbreaking and influential in film history. This two disk set comes in a nifty tin casing, with original booklets and poster artworks included. Second disk has an incredible documentory of the making of "King Kong" including a recreation of the famous lost spider pit scene using the original 1933 effects. Any Kong, monster or film fan will love to have this in their collection.

  • This was my favorite as a kid and still is, King Kong captures the imagination and hearts of young and old alike.

A classic that only gets better with time.

  • Strange Romance!

What do yopu get when you cross a 50 foot (ok, so I don't remember how tall he is) Ape with a gorgeous blond?? no idea?? Alot of dead bodies, a bent skyscraper and angry army flyers..This film is the best of them all and it's what started the King Kong monopoly...Filmed in 1933 they used at the time state of the art special affects to creat the monsterous, but lovesick ape known as Kong..The storyline is your classic boy falls for Girl, Girls runs screaming away then devolopes pity for the boy and tries to help him only to..nope not gonna tell you, if you haven't seen this classic yet what are you waiting for?

  • old time classic

I remember watching King Kong as a youngster going back in the 1960's and the two dvd set is excellent plus its contents. Many thanks for a wonderful set.
