    Ify-Ify

I saw some clips for this as well as some of its deleted scenes. Some of the latter got my attention more than what was shown in the final cut. Stuff like that always resonated for me as I grew up. Not that this makes Chris Sanders' illustrations and writing any less extraordinary. John Lassester wasn't a big fan of this or of Chris Sanders' work.

  • My Child w/ Autism LOVES this movie (and so do I)!

Is Barney making you crazy? I have an 11-year-old son with autism (low functioning). Until he got hooked on Lilo & Stitch, he'd only watch Barney and Sesame St. videos (he resists switching to DVD so he still uses videos). I've never sat down to watch the entire movie but, believe me, I can quote it nearly verbatim because he plays it constantly. It's so wonderful to hear all the Elvis music coming from his room versus the Barney and Sesame St. tunes I've heard over the last 10 years! The movie and the music are adorable, and it features a misfit little girl (Lilo) who recently lost her parents and is struggling to accept her older sister as her only parent/guardian, and the older sister who struggles to become a responsible parental figure to her younger sibling. I know there are a LOT ...

  • Excellent Movie!!!

Wonderful movie! This movie has been out long enough for people to know what it's about. Lilo and Stitch is a wonderful movie about finding out what family is, even it you are not blood related. It is about how a "broken" family gets put back together. And, of course, it has aliens! I bought this on VHS because 1) it holds up better than the DVD's do when you have kids, and 2)because my daughter loves Lilo and Stitch. We still have our old VHS player and I hope it never dies because I get so much more use out of the tapes than the discs. Plus, you can always find a great old movie for cheap somewhere.

  • The meaning of family!

Great movie about a girl who adopts a pet and has to train him to be good because he was created to be bad. Great music and a great kids movie. Disney does it again!

  • Eye catching and cute

Grandchildren enjoyed watching parts of movie but got bored during other times. They also were not interested in watching the movie again and that is unusual because normally they enjoy watching their movies over and over again.
