About this product

Product Information

Filmmaker P. David Ebersole looks past the public train wreck of Courtney Love to focus his lens on Hole drummer Patty Schemel, whose harrowing struggles with addition undercut her role as a key member of one of the 1990s' most popular bands. Though Love garnered most of the attention as the outspoken singer for Hole, Schemel's beats gave their songs a driving force that shot them to the top of the charts. But the higher that Hole ascended, the lower Schemel fell. In this documentary, interviews with Love and other key players in the Seattle music scene tell the story of an unsung musician who never got her due.

Received item as advertised. Brand new and sealed. Packaged to prevent damage during shipping! An interesting and heartfelt watch. I've read the Pierre Boulle book and watched the David Lean movie. As the title states, the true story of what happened on the "Death Railway" during world War II. I recommend this dvd to anyone interested in WWII history. Excellent seller!

Seller was quick & helpful to respond to my needs. Every disc played well. The packaging was damaged during shipping; so I placed all the discs in my original case for season 1. Still wish the seller would use bubble wrap to protect shipments.

  • A totally raw look at the love of music from an underground perspective

This is one of the most accurate documentaries I have seen. It really captured all sides of every story that it visited. A must see for any grunge/alternative music lover / musician. I'm really happy with my purchase!
