    Really nice deep red ponytail #1 Barbie reproduction for her birthday.

    I've bought several of these dolls so that I could have one never removed from the box signed by the designer and others so I and my daughter could have to re-dress. This doll's red hair is very different than the 35 Anniversary Festival one, much deeper red. She completes the series of the blonde, brunette and lemon reproduction #1's done for the 50th Anniversary of Barbie. Red heads and lemons weren't done originally in 1959.

    red,white and beautiful

    This set is just wonderful. The doll and clothes are very well made. The accessories are great. You just really have to hold this and look at it to appreciate it's beauty and craftsmanship.

    It is truly red, white and beautiful!

    I purchased this doll because it is a doll and outfit originally illustrated on the first barbie box in 1959. It wasn't produced until 2009 for the convention I wasn't able to attend. It compares to the vintage outfits in quality, and fills in one hole of my collection.
