Kevin James (a parcel deliveryman Doug Heffernan) is locked between a job of life and a father-n-law who lives in his basement. Leah Remini (Doug’s loving wife Carrie) is the typical home/worker busy bee and her rattle attitude is always control/authority figure. But nothing really tips the show without Jerry Stiller (a royal pain in the you know what Arthur). This trio will break out of normalcy and create a comedy of flight. After Arthur burns down his own home with a hot plate, blue collar comedy will open a can of normal life bringing grievances and shenanigans. King of Queens began as a Monday CBS staple on Sep 1, 1998 & ended on May 14, 2007. Great cast, great comedy
What am I going to do now that "Friends" is gone? Watch "King of Queens" of course. I dismissed this comedy when it first came out as a second-rate sitcom, but the more I watched, the funnier Doug Heffernan (Kevin James) became. Although watching he and Carrie (Leah Remini) battle back and forth is pretty funny, it's Carrie's dad Arthur, played by Jerry Stiller that really gets me rolling. I have Seasons 1-4 on DVD, and they are all very good. If you miss Friends, you gotta check out the King of Queens.What am I going to do now that "Friends" is gone? Watch "King of Queens" of course. king of queens awesome
Super funny, lovable characters, upbeat comedy. I love Kevin James in this sitcom, it's my favorite sitcom in fact. The show gets better and better as the years progress, and by season nine, I wanted more. Now I'm collecting all the seasons on DVD. Everyone should get this series, it's super funny, and keeps you laughing all the way through.
