Summers traces Nixon's history and reveals his addiction to power. The book will blow your mind and offer insight into the world of politics in the 70's. A great read and a super gift!

  • Excellent biography of the most morally corrupt US President

    Remarkable study of a total human paradox. Nixon truly was a loner, had only one friend, yet pursued a highly public career. Summers covered this misfit from his earliest years when Nixon honed his skills as a liar through the years of red baiting for his own opportunist objectives, to prolonging the Vietnam conflict to heighten his political advantage, and to the pathetic, almost comedic Watergate break in.Very readable as Summers writes so artfully. Long book, buty it flows.
