1000 watts, NOPE.
If I put a true 1000 watts on this speaker I would be wearing the cone as a hat cause it would hop right out of the frame!!! I’m running a PPI power class PC275 on it bridged. So 2ohm about 600W volume almost off, low pass and I smoked the first one I had, smoked it like a big ‘ol bowl! The first one I received the dust cap came loose after about two weeks of play and became completely useless. sounds very good, running it with a 200 Watt RMS amp at half sens. It requires the correct enclosure. I have it in a 11' RAV4 oem location but dynamatted all openings with added insualtion.
