    A Very Fine Motion Picture

    Many years ago I saw this film on television, and being young I did not fully comprehend the entire scope of the story. The film is remarkable as it shows how some people did not practice what they preached. In today's world we see things quite differently, and so it is easy to criticize the way the parents acted. This is an excellent film, which teaches without condemning, and that is why it is still a fine motion picture today.

  • Great subject matter and great cast. ;;;;;

    This was indeed a great movie. I had not seen it since 1969.. Sidney is a great actor. I have always loved Tracy and Hepburn. I give it 2 thumbs up.

  • A need to see movie!

    I first saw this as a very young girl and remains to this day, probably the best movie ever made. Every actor in it is amazing. Sidney Poitier is my favorite actor and just a beautiful person. This story is an important truth of life and in my opinion everyone should watch this. Funny, gripping at times, it will touch your heart.

  • Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?

    A great film that causes one to think about the inner depths and complexities of being a human being. A great cast with Sidney Poitier, Spencer Tracy, and Katherine Hepburn in the leads. Also a great debut for Katherine's niece Katherine Houghton. A true classic. Highly recommend it!!!
