    the Rolling Stones in mono

    I have the Stones releases from this era which is my favorite version of the band I have them in stereo when I seen the mono set I purchased it. It's great to hear how their music was recorded back then. If you grew up on stereo or todays surround sound mono sounds flat, but that was the sound their music had back then, its great to listen to the music the way it was recorded in the time period it came from

    The Stones 60’s recordings in mono is the way these albums were meant to be heard. And to sweeten the deal these tracks were wonderfully remastered. An essential purchase for any serious Rolling Stones fan.

    Back To Mono

    It is really great to hear the original mono mixes they way the band released them. So, many stereo re-mixes, whether done in the '60s or later, damage the original intent. The small sleeves are adequate if not wonderful but it is all about the music. Very nice booklet too in the nifty box.
