This guitar is exactly as described, awesome little guitar for travel and practicing on. the package arrived in perfect condition and a also arrived a little earlier than expected! If you order online it can be 50/50 if the delivery company doesn't damage items these days but I was happy to have this guitar arrive in mint condition. Butler music llc also had this guitar at a better price than what I seen other sellers have it for. This seller is was great to deal with.

The seller has great communication and it was Christmas, but he still got back to me with all of my questions. The price was right. The shipping process was seamless. The guitar was packaged safe and secure with no worries of damage. I would recommend this seller and will buy from them again as well. Very positive experience. Happy New Year!

  • Highest Quality in it’s Class for the Price

Had a number of great guitars in the 60’s and 70’s - Fender and Martin but life took over and I stopped playing. Decided recently to start again. Looked for something good, and affordable to begin with. Washburn’s rep as a quality brand is solid and they bought Oscar Schmidt another good brand back in 2002 and positioned it as their second brand. Schmidt has been around since 1871 and was a very popular “middle” brand in the 1920’s and 1930’s. I did a lot of research and chose the Schmidt OG2 Dreadnaught. It is of laminate construction. Which is to say less expensive but still give a good sound. Spruce laminate top, Catalpa body, Mahogany neck and Rosewood fretboard, Truss rod, “newbone” nuts, saddle and pins. V heel and chrome die cast tuners. Full rosette and trim work - looks very ...

  • Fantastic Guitar.

Great guitar. Unbelievable sound for this price range. You can distinctly hear each string ring out when you strike a chord. Rich, sweet, balanced and full. Great play-ability after a truss rod adjustment. I still need to lower the action at the saddle and nut another mm, but the action is super fast and easy as it is right now. The frets are well crowned and smooth. They aren't sharp, but they do protrude at the ends a bit. Filing them back won't be a big deal. Otherwise, fit and finish was perfect. I've owned a lot of acoustic guitars in various price ranges and the more I play this, the more impressed I am. I wouldn't hesitate to gig anywhere with this. I'm delighted. It's a keeper.
