Great specs for value in 2021 - drawbacks: no all day battery, very limited 5G (only Verizon UW bands n261/n260), a lot of LG bloatware
Great deal for a phone released in May 2019 that I got in September 2021. I'm pleased with it but read on for some limitations that could be deal breakers for you. PROS 4G service and WiFi is excellent, it's a very responsive interface, and great display. 6GB RAM is really helpful to me as I'm known to hyper-multitask with dozens of browser tabs open. CONS If you need true all day battery this is not a good selection for you. I get by with short recharges in car or at desk, and, if needed, I use Data Saver to turn off background data which helps quite a bit. Some of the battery drain is from LG bloatware, which you can't disable easily. There are hacks, though, and I have had some satisfaction by simply removing all permissions for each app, essentially crippling most of them. One, ... One, though, that I haven't been able to impact is LGs voicemail app. I can't get it to drop the connection to the voicemail servier, which prevents the native Google dialer from logging in to visual voicemail. 5G coverage on Verizon is limited to the super fast 5G ultra wideband which is only a very small percentage of Verizon's 5G network. And 5G UW is NOT even supported on (all?) MVNOs like Total Wireless, Straight Talk, etc. Speaking of MVNOs, you can't activate a network locked Verizon branded phone on an MVNO, and that means activating it on Verizon directly for 2 months. No other carrier has this limitation, where phones that are locked to it's network can't access that network through an MVNO partner. Get with it, Verizon. I first purchased a New in Box, for that new phone smell, but had to exchange it for a Like New refurbished in order to activate it. But hey, that comes with eBay's certified 1 year warranty, so maybe it's a better deal after all. Note: This version does not support the dual screen case.

The shadow is not small. Highly visible (distracting) with light (white background). Can still be seen watching videos. Device is not unlocked. Unless you have Verizon service, it is difficult to get unlocked

Brought this after my BRAND NEW LG G8 froze after i updated to Android 10. I LOVE it slight cut on back phone otherwise flawless
You're going to need to purchase your own fast charger and wireless charger as it comes with generic plugs. There's a slight cut on the back right below the flash otherwise the phone is flawless. Popped in my two-year-old SIM card works perfectly in the Verizon network tried to get a new SIM card but I wasn't waiting in line for two hours at a Verizon store. Slightly bigger then the LG G8 I had for 6 hours LOL it froze out of the box after updating to Android 10 I do very much appreciate the larger size!! Flagship phone for cheap
This is a flagship phone at a bargain price. Well, now it is a bargain price, it was around $1,100 when it came out a year ago. It didn't sell well, simply because LG phones never sell well, and it is now about 1/4 of the price but still has AMAZING memory, CPU, screen, etc., etc. One of the best features is that it is a 5G phone, and though my carrier doesn't give me 5G coverage (TracFone), I have still found that this phone gives me 4G with amazingly improved reception over the LG V30. I work inside a cement cinderblock school in the remote woods of NH, and I get rock-solid 4G with this phone all the time. It has improved WiFi connection and speeds as well. And if you are an LG user, you know what the strong points are ... for me, it is the audiophile features, a dedicated DAC of the ... This is a flagship phone at a bargain price.
