    Since I don't believe in ghosts, I usually consider ghost stories a waste of time. I made an exception for this one because of the life lessons that develop along with the mystery. Ten year old Christina survives the miserable ride with cranky, old Uncle Ralph by imagining all the fun she'll have spending the summer with Grandma. Upon arrival her hopes for a summer of freedom are smashed when bossy Aunt Grace informs them that Grandma is in the hospital. Uncle Ralph looks as trapped as Chris feels when he is told she must stay with him until his mother is well. When Mama suggests on the phone that Chris find a project to keep herself busy outdoors out of Uncle Ralph's way, she's torn; should she try making friends with the little ghost boy she saw on the first night or should she ...
