Item is a counterfeit. Should not be marked with Hakko logo, model number or any other Hakko nomenclature. The pins in the six pin DIN plug are far smaller than the standard pin diameter and I have serious doubts as to them making proper electrical contact in the socket. There are others like this on Ebay, Hakko markings but with a standard DIN plug. While they may be counterfeit also, they stand a better chance of working than this unit.
