    The words and works of Christ

    I’m getting a lot from this book. It fills in the historic and cultural gaps of the ministry of Jesus, covering everything from his pre birth to ascension. Lots of explanation of significant Greek words which explain meanings of our English translations. And this book isn’t dry at all- some of the commentators included lean a little that way) but the author himself uses much living Word and his explanations are easy to understand.
