    Delightfully Delicious Reads ...

    I was just recently introduced to Mary Kay Andrews' books (via "Hissy Fit") and I love them -- they are just plainly fun reads, with just enough tears (happy as well as sad) to make the stories real. The characters are almost too real -- have known and do know friends (and not friends) who fit these descriptions much too well (no names please !!). I am now in the process of locating "large paperbacks" of all the Mary Kay Andrews titles to complete (as of now) my "collection" and will continue as long as Mary Kay does !!

    If you love Ebay then this is the book for you!

    Weezie Foley is a junker! She makes her living as a picker for the antiques trade and by rummaging through people's garbage for great loot to sell on Ebay! Along the way she develops an eye for great stuff and is temporarily jailed on a crime of passion, read " good junk", that she did not commit before an Estate sale! Mary Kay Andrews creates really vivid characters.... you KNOW how fellow junkers can be! She salts this mystery with folks we all see on Saturday mornings in the yard sale business....the early birds, the sharp elbow jabber, the guy who steals your stuff in line, the people who think they can charge book value on Aunt Susie's antique stuffed chihuahua!!! A funny, fast read full of mayhem and a cute chef who knows how to make soup- if you know what I mean!

    Savannah Blues - Mary Kay Andrews

    I am from Savannah so I just had to read this book even though it is a work of fiction. I read this book several years ago and absolutely loved it. It is a great read. I saw it on ebay and new I had to have it for my book collection. I have read other books by Mary and they are all fasinating as well. If you read this book (which I suggest highly) then also get Savannah Breeze. The main character is the best friend of the main character in Savannah Blues and it brings back a couple of the characters in this story. Great book, go out and read it today!!!

    Great story. Didn't want to put it dodwn. Value is good,book with yellowing of pages but it didn't hurt anything and I enjoyed reading. Great author.

    Southern Read at It's Best

    Southern setting with interesting characters! Suspense! Steamy Romance! Everything you want in a book to keep you reading. I couldn't read it fast enough! Antiques, Old Plantation mansion and getting the true feeling of a south Georgia small town and all it's gossip!
