    Good history of the early Congo Civil Wars

    This is a fine, quick history of the early Congo civil wars (1960-63). It has a heavy accent on Katanga politics and historic figures. There is much in depth information on Katanga leaders like Tshombe and Munongo. Also good back ground on the early, well known mercenary leaders. Interesting descriptions of UN personnel and politics as well. It onl,y lightly touches on the later Simba and Mercenary revolts. My only complaint is that there were not more photos. The ones that are there are good but there must be more dynamic images available of UN aircraft, vehicles and personnel in action.
