About this product

Product Information

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER * The third book in Diana Gabaldon's acclaimed Outlander saga, the basis for the Starz original series. "Triumphant . . . Her use of historical detail and a truly adult love story confirm Gabaldon as a superior writer."-- Publishers Weekly In this rich, vibrant tale, Diana Gabaldon continues the story of Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser that began with the now-classic novel Outlander and continued in Dragonfly in Amber . Sweeping us from the battlefields of eighteenth-century Scotland to the West Indies, Diana Gabaldon weaves magic once again in an exhilarating and utterly unforgettable novel. He was dead. However, his nose throbbed painfully, which he thought odd in the circumstances. Jamie Fraser is, alas, not dead--but he is in hell. Waking among the fallen on Culloden Field, he is concerned neither for his men nor his wounds but for his wife and their unborn child. Lord, he prayed passionately, that she may be safe. She and the child. It's a prayer he'll utter many times over the next twenty years, never knowing but always hoping that Claire made it through the standing stones, back to the safety of her own time. Safe she is, but believing Jamie gone forever, she's obliged to live without a heart, her only comfort their daughter, Brianna. But now, their daughter grown, she discovers that Jamie survived, and a fateful decision lies before her: Stay with her beloved daughter, or go back to search Scotland's dangerous past for the man who was her heart and soul, sustained only by the hope that they will still know each other if she finds him.

Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!

  • Voyager, Book 3 in the Outlander series by D. Gabaldon

Diana Gabaldon writes very believably about time travel. I'm impressed by her imagination. It's quite fascinating to me how she contrasts life over two hundred years ago with life today. The way she has the main character using modern medical knowledge and improvising in that other time. In this particular book, she did a very good job of describing life aboard ship making a very long voyage. Tough life. I appreciate the love story, didn't always appreciate some of the sex scenes in the books, but like the depth of genuine love the two main characters have for one another. The author obviously did a lot of research and gave her stories a great deal of thought. This must have been a very life-consuming work for her and she deserves all the success. Other people raved to me about ...

  • voyager

excellent read that is part of a larger series of books. i am on book five. these are a slower read and saga length. it is a time commitment and hurts the brain for details. it is a fictional, historically based, paranormal slant romance. well researched and technically accurate they educate and entertain. great characterization. this and the other books are diverse, engaged and interesting. good read(s).

  • Excellent book, intriguing series, wonderful writer!

I have read all the books in this series more than once and am now purchasing them in hardcover. This series of books has EVERYTHING... centered around a fascinating 'love story' as it weaves its way through history. These books have passion, many religious views, herbal medicine, Celt history, occult, witchcraft, time travel, poetry, literature, past - present - and future, war, evil, pain, misery, unbounded love and devotion, miracle, birth, death, living, dying, humor, sadness, grief, joy, surprises, and mystery. The first of the series, "Outlander" - begins in 1940's Scotland; where the main character "Claire" is inexplicably transported to 1740's Scotland. The rest of the books and 'spin off' books, chronicle her life and some of those that she meets along the way.

  • high sea's adventure, the love story continue's

you fall in love with Claire and Jamie, and Voyager like all Diana Gabaldon books is full of details and you don't want to miss a thing.
