President Trump has even been urged to create a commission to prepare for an EMP attack, similar to the Manhattan Project in World War II. The Pentagon has also taken action to protect the electric grid from an EMP attack as well, but nonetheless, experts on the subject and EMP advocates continue to insist that we are woefully underprepared for an EMP attack.
