Item as described, good price, well packaged, arrived slightly later than hoped (not in time for Christmas ) but the order was placed in a very busy shipping period. No issue with the seller’s speed of response and sending the item. Great seller!

I was pleasantly surprised by how soon I received this textbook given that it shipped from outside the U.S. It was packaged well with no damage. The price was right. And I greatly appreciated the communication informing me where the book was shipping from and including a tracking number. Overall, a positive experience, - online shopping the way it should be. I've bought books from this seller several times now without any complaints and will surely buy from them again. Thanks a lot!

Quality and hard to find book that won't be released 'til January 2025 in the U.S.A. Fantastic price. Book was in a secure and protective package. Arrived a few days after I placed order and that was faster than I expected. Seller is a fantastic communicator and proactive in regards to tracking status. I'd definitely buy from them in the future.

  • Coffee-table book of museum-quality pieces

PROs: A significant amount of historical research is obvious here. Discussion of which companies actually manufactured and which were simply distributors; timeline; ricasso stamps; and much more. As soon as I got the book I started reading and didn't put it down for 90 minutes. Lots of great photos of early and very hard-to-find knives. CONs: No price guide or values. Almost zero info on inspection, parts terminology, and grading -- for overwhelmingly impressive info on these aspects, see 'Antique American Switchblades' by Mark Erickson. All photos are full size; thus, knives of 13" and over stretch over two pages, and since the book cannot be flattened without breaking the spine, you're looking at an image stretching over two separately convex pages. This distorted depiction of the ...

  • Unravel the mysterious background of the forbidden iconic Italian "Switchblade"

I enjoyed the authors open and engaging approach to the mysterious "black beauty" of my early years. The excitement of being able to master the unknown forbidden mystery of the Switchblade. I wonder what really happens when you press that round little button... do you become a man? Will I drop it? The real history as best it can be known was an enjoyable and informative read for me. Very thorough and well researched.

  • Great book superbly written.

Dan fuller is a great author and avid knife collector. His book on the little known world if the automatic cuttlery of Italy is well written and highly informative as well as having many of the most popular and obscure knives listed and shown in full color photos. Highly recommended for the knife collector and historian.
