Moreover, when plugging in to a 120-volt electrical outlet (such as in the United States of America), a reading of 1860 watts or more (15.5 amperes or more x 120 volts) shows an "overloaded" indicator, so keep that in mind if testing any power hungry energy hog of an appliance.
