A sequel worthy of Trainspotting.
This book will confuse you at first. You need to realize 1 thing right off the bat; the book it written by several authors. Sick Boy, Spud, Begbie, Renton and newcomer Nikki, and each is written phonetically as they speech in their thick Scottish accents. Each 'author' has a learning curve to learn how they speak, and with Begbie, it's frustrating as hell at first, but by the end you'll feel like you're speed reading a different language, which in itself is fascinating. Once you get past the learning curve through the first 100 or so pages, you'll be catapulted into a gripping and highly enjoyable read taking you back to the scummy underbelly of Leith, a suburb of Edinburgh, where Sick Boy attends a 'stag party' and decides... he needs to get into the business! He meets up with Nikki ... This book will confuse you at first. You need to realize 1 thing right off the bat; the book it written by several authors. I will declare this now; there will be 2 major reactions most people will have to this book. The first is 'where is the damn movie?' and 'when can we expect the sequel to the book?' Okay, I lied, there is a spoiler. At the end of the book, the story is far from over. All in all, if you loved Trainspotting, you'll be here giving your 5 out of 5 after reading.

After "Glue' and "Transspointing" you have to read this book. Welsh is the best for youth, druggies, clubbing people and everybody how likes to read British autors.
