    I never knew

    I really enjoyed watching this story unfold . The classes I sat through in school were so boring, and contained little background. The History channel does such a great job of going into much greater depth of the people involved in the story. They really breathe life into all the events,characters, and how timing , politics and power affect the outcomes. Prior to seeing this dvd, I thought this was just another legend . I'm now actually way more interested in history and traveling . Thanks Ted

    Rosetta Stone

    I got this DVD because I had never heard of the Rosetta Stone. I wanted to learn what this was, and to know why they made a DVD about it. This has to be the best DVD if you are wanting to learn some History. I don't want to give to many details about this DVD, but you will not waste your money if you buy it. If you are wanting to learn more, then try the History or A & E DVD's. Your knowledge will be increased. The only down side to this DVD is that it is not in HD, and so it is kind of like looking at an old movie.

    Good Quality DVD

    This DVD was an excellent concise history of the Rosetta stone. I bought it because we are taking a trip to see the real Rosetta stone in London. This DVD was done in the classic History channel method of weaving a story together about the key people, places and the big break through.
