SCAM: not ruby or any variety of corundum, hardness of about 3 or 4, it doesn't fluoresce under UV light, the cut is bad even for a beginner lapidarist, the certificate is a laserjet printed piece of paper, GIR has no record on file for the ref. no. and date given, listed dimensions are not correct... This is a low-rent and dishonest operation. Customs probably couldn't wait to throw this trash across the border, which probably explains the fast shipping and the only silver lining here.
