A Different Time in History
Love Agatha Christie. Books and movies. Plus I like watching movies set in different time periods. The way they dressed and the different models of cars back then. Plus they traveled by boat and train a lot during that time. Something not done much these days.

A classic Mysterey to ponder
It contains the rarest & MOST RECENT episodes of the Poirot series with David Suchet. These episodes are affordable in the Boxed set form. The stories & plots are excelent, the mystery of the Blue train benefited from the celebrity guest star, but, often this is not enough to make up for the loss of Both the Affable Hastings, and Inspector Japp from the series. This may be due to the need to stick to the Agatha Christie plots, & books as they were written, but the supporting actors and actresses in the new roles are not always as memorable. David Suchet is still brilliant & no one else could ever play Poirot as well as he does. WELL worth the price, the ONLY big regret is that there may be a long wait for more episodes as these are the latest & last to be produced released, & the project ... This set of four Hercule Poirot presentations are some that are not as well-known as say, Murder on the Orient Express, but should be viewed by those who consider themselves Poirot Fans. They have all the twists and turns, surprises, and "I can't believe I missed that!" comments that make it such fun to watch Poirot solve the mysteries using his "little grey cells." Agatha Christie's Poirot Excellent Buy!
My husband and I are great fans of the Poirot films that Jeremy Brett stars in and this new purchase has not let us down! Each of these four DVDs are brilliant masterpieces once again and we have thoroughly enjoyed them. We are glad we are able to purchase these DVDs through Ebay as we live in a small town where they are not available, and we are able to purchase them for less cost than through A & E.
