There are those who have seen the band Muse live, and then there are simply those who haven't been FORCED to see them yet. The 60's had The Beatles, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix. The 70's had bands like Led Zeppelin and Queen. The 80's and 90's also had their bands that you were told you HAD to see live, to truly appreciate them. These bands weren't only big because of their chart-topping hits, they became music legends because of their live performances. The english band Muse seems to know this... The band Muse has made it their intent to bring an memorable experience to the concert-goer via an all-out light show and sound extravaganza at Wembley Stadium in England. And boy, do they ever deliver. Muse has, (very geniusly) released a live performance CD and DVD combo called H.A.A.R.P. ... Having already been a MUSE fan, this cd/dvd was simply something I needed to check off my "completist" list. I was happy enough with the 14 audio tracks on the cd. The song list seems to span their last 3 highly successful full-length albums. The true gem is the DVD, where their live show shines brightly. Rife with strobelights, laserbeams, 20-ft monitors showing lyrics and robots, this show is legendary. Frontman Matthew Bellamy is truly an artist and showman, prancing around the stage with judo-kicks, jumping splits and fall-to-knees playing that would make Jimi Hendrix himself proud. The band's passion shows in every performance. I have already bought this cd/dvd twice, one as a gift and one for me. If you have not seen MUSE live, this is as close as you'll get. Great cd/dvd from a great band. A must-own!

Another great CD from Muse
Becoming a huge muse fan, I had to buy all their CDs and really liked the idea of getting the DVD of one of their concerts with this package. The discs are awesome, and I have enjoyed them immensely. I especially love seeing the concert since I wanted to see them in action. I also desperately wanted to see Matthew Bellamy play the piano, as I, too, am a pianist. I like everything about this disc set, and to me, there's nothing to dislike. Wembley Never Looked so Good!
The orange bars should go way out past the "t" in excellent. This concert is perfect frosting on your cake if you are a MUSE fan. No disappointments here. I have been to concerts at Wembley and I would trade all of them to have been to this one. Now it is very clear why this band has been rated the top rock, pop, whatever...band in Britain for the last 4 years. Well produced.

Muse: The Best Live Band Of The 21st Century!
What can I say? I have been a Muse fan since 1999 and this CD/DVD shows the amazing capacity of this band playing live! Matthew Bellamy, Christopher Wolstenholme & Dominic Howard play their hearts out for you. If you get a chance to see them live, don't let it pass by, I have seen them myself and they are truly the best live band out there!!! Cheers.
