    Loudon Wainwright first lp on cd

    Had this for years on vinyl and although the depth is not there on a cd the purity more than makes up for it. These early songs of Loudon have wonderfully poetic and symbolic language and turns of phrase and references. His guitar playing is delicate and brash and very controlled. As good as seeing him live on stage I listen to this more than anyof his recordings.
