The color of the pen was listed as purple but, it is really blue - not a big deal, it is cheap. The pen arrived in some unusual packaging. I've not seen Parker pens in this type of packaging before. This pen might have been a display model, used or old because the ink cartridge was either empty or dried-out. Oh well, the pen was cheap (plus the cost of a new ink cartridge), it does have a nice balanced and comfortable feel.
