Great emergency tool to have to help change a cheap dirty generator so it can be used on sensitive items.
I use it on one of my small generators to clean the voltage up, whereas I can use it on highly sensitive electrons, such as television, phones and computers. Dirty electrical spike can and will take out an electrical product by burning out the power-supply, cpu, or a motherboard. I would use the LC-1200 in-line on an older LCD or Led television in an emergency situation... I would not hook it us to perhaps a $800.00 Samsung HD television or any other brand new product.I use it on one of my small generators to clean the voltage up, whereas I can use it on highly sensitive electrons, such as television, phones and computers. It appears to do something that uninterruptible power supplies don't, correct for high and low line voltages that can damage electronics if the line voltage gets too high or low. I've set up a charging station for phones, tablets, etc and feel like this smallest unit is a good investment as quality electronics continue to rise in price. TRIPP LITE LC-1200 Line Conditioner
I use this for my Audio System. Actually I use two. I have a high end system. As far as what a working stiff might have and I feel the noise filtering and surge/sag protection is well worth the modest price. This replaces my Monster Mark 3 line filter system.. Never felt the need to look back. YES a slight hum if you put your ear to it. Don't put you ear to it, problem solved. No harm no foul.I use this for my Audio System. Actually I use two.
