    Replacement of a good product

    I bought this base to replace one killed by lightning. I already had 5 handsets and the unit is no longer manufactured by Panasonic, so I went looking on eBay. It is exactly what I had before and all of my old handsets synced to the new base easily. Good, solid phone. I have always appreciated the announcing caller ID so if my hands are full, I can hear who is calling before running to answer.

    The phone is lightweight with great features.

    Awesome cordless phone system

    Nice phone system with built in answering machine. Has a dial pad on the base which is great. All handsets sync together for caller id and phonebook purposes and you can check messages from any of them as well. If you have voicemail, it picks up the stutter tone and alerts you when you receive a message. Call blocking uses the caller id function to turn away unwanted callers. Programming names into the phonebook is cool because it displays their saved name on the caller id and the talking caller id says the name you store the number under as well. All in all, this is a great phone at a great price.

    inexpensive phone for good features

    I bought this Phone 6 weeks ago and checked for similar phones with reasonable price and good features.and i found it covers what i needs.It works good and has talking ID caller which is characteristic feature in some model of Panasonic . Also the answering machine is good.So it good phone with good features with reasonable price.

    If it ain't broke, don't fix it: if it is broken, get another one.

    I had this phone before and it just wore out from use. I like a lot of the features, especially blocking callers. The fidelity is so much better than some of the newer phones I've bought. So, when it wore out, I wanted a replacement.
