The classic turn-based gameplay established by the Might and Magic series comes to the PlayStation 2 in this release, complete with graphical enhancements and new features designed to make good use of the console's power. Players choose a hero to lead across the land on a quest to smite evil, gain power, and recover an immensely powerful artifact known as the "Dragon Bone Staff." <br><br>In a blend of RPG and strategy elements familiar to veterans of the game's many incarnations on the PC, the player may choose to lead his army on side adventures to defeat wanted criminals or to recruit powerful allies, always watching for clues to the location of the elusive Dragon Bone Staff along the way. When the relic is finally found, the chances are slim that it will be unguarded. The secrets gleaned and skills gained on the quest that leads the hero to the staff may also decide the victor of the final battle.

I'm not waiting a week to tell you that I am never ordering from this vendor again. Zero customer service, when I try to contact its not delivered. I appreciate the fact the game came quickly however the game though described as "very good" in condition didn't run in my Xbox and no matter what I did it will not read it. It's only 3 dollars but if it is advertised as very good then it should be so. Safe to say I am very disappointed in this vendor and the product that I payed for.

A good price for a cool PSP game, shipped promptly and packaged well. However, the UMD shell arrived cracked so the item wasn't exactly in good condition. The disc itself was fine. Rather than return the item, the seller offered a refund directly. I used the refund to buy some replacement UMD shells and got it working. The replacement UMD shells cost about as much as the item itself. But the seller did the right thing without hesitation, so they have my thanks. Thank you!

    Fight enemies, siege castles, sail seas, split plunder, find the dragonbone staff and save the king

    This games a classic , very fun, very adventurous and alot of strategy required. Don't forget too get your contract before you attack a villain in his castle with siege equipment. Also buy control spell and learn magic asap. Sometimes undead or angry soldiers with low morale can turn on you and attack your army. Ghosts, vampires and trolls beware of there fast regeneration. Wolves are good and don't underestimate a bunch of cheap peasants for beginning battles! They are good too hage.

    HoMM; Pasttime stress reliever :)

    i bought this game for the mere purpose of giving my g/f something easy to play, that is an RPG...trying to get her coverted on those types of games...knowing only if she tried it..she would love it...plus it would get her off my back for a bit longer and allow me the free time with my gaming...atm all she does is complain...but, o haved a feeling it will all soon change...i hope. i use to love this game...yea, its out of date...but that doesnt matter to me...im all about the positives..

    Awesome game. Long term playability is phenomenal. Very highly recommended.

    In my opinion this one of the most underrated games ever made for the PS2. I have owned it for about 8 years and I still play it and love as much as I did back then. The only reason I bought a new copy was because my old one doesn't work in my US PS2. The key to this game is the combination of chess-like strategy and the fantasy genre. There's a lot more to it than first meets the eye. It's probably a tough game to get into in the very early stages but once one gets the hang of it, it is super-addictive. I think it is just the fact that people didn't give it enough of a chance when they first tried it that stopped it from being hugely popular. It definitely appeals more to people who like the fantasy genre (Lord of the Rings and such), but I think it appeals to others too, if they invest a ...
