Well, as Shakespeare said, "All's well that ends well." When the FedEx package arrived from Japan, it looked as if it had been hit with a 2x4. Fortunately, the damage was only to the cardboard box. The hardcase, and more importantly, the guitar inside the hardcase, were undamaged, thanks to the careful packing by the seller. The guitar was as described, and I found that the setup was good, too. First time for me buying a guitar from Japan, what a nice first! The guitar was in much better condition than expected. The guitar looked like it had never been played. Even the pickguard plastic wrap was still in place. I never found the scratches or fret wear that was mentioned in the description. The guitar was packaged very safely and arrived totally intact to my door. The down-to-earth price made this a very good deal!
