Reviews
For any serious student of W. E. B. Du Bois or Africana critical theory, this book should be mandatory reading.... For those already familiar with Du Bois's works, Rabaka rewards his readers with original ideas that merit thoughtful consideration whether one accepts them or not.... I expect that we will be reading much more about Du Bois's contributions to critical race theory and postcolonialism, and this book will be considered a leading reference., This remarkable book is nothing short of a critique of critical theory itself. The scale of Dr. Rabaka's erudition and insights into the very question of what it means to theorize from the intellectual resources offered by the African Diaspora, without a reactionary exclusion of the contributions from other communities of thought, makes this provocative and historically informed work the long-awaited text that launches the transition from promise to fact., Reiland Rabaka is a young, engaged intellectual to be contended with, one with a distinctive cast of mind. His passionate and well-read take on Du Bois will provoke heated debates and fruitful reconsiderations of this towering figure; his conception of 'Africana Critical Theory' will provoke much needed reconsiderations of theoretical tools forged and put to work to produce understandings and emancipatory reconstructions of the life-worlds and life-world situations of peoples African and of African descent. He must be read, and read closely and carefully., Nuanced and comprehensive, Reiland Rabaka's work on W. E. B. Du Bois and Africana Critical Theory is unique. Its offering of complex and comprehensive analyses, in clear and engaging prose, provides a valuable resource for academic and activist intellectuals.

Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!
