About this product

Product Information

Someone impersonating Parisian P.I. Aim e Leduc shoots her partner, Ren , and eyewitnesses identify Aim e as the culprit. She must clear herself and find the shooter before she finishes the job Just as Parisian private investigator Aim e Leduc is about to leave for New York City to pursue a lead on a man who might be her brother, her fellow detective, Ren Friant, is wounded by a near-fatal gunshot. Aim e is distraught over Ren 's condition and horrified to be under suspicion for the attack; police have pegged her as the guilty party. At the same time, a large, mysterious sum appears in Leduc Detective's bank account, and tax authorities descend upon Aim e. It seems someone is impersonating her--someone who wants revenge. But for what?

"[S]uch fun ... a delightfully unbuttoned Audrey Hepburn for the twenty-first century."-- Booklist   "[Aimee's] two investigations link in a surprising way--there's a really ripping ending--and make for interestingly different and overlapping tension. And with Aimée really on the defensive, she's more appealingly tough yet vulnerable than ever. With its multiple strands, this work has a somewhat different feel from other Aimée Leduc novels. But never fear, it's still a winner."-- Library Journal, "[S]uch fun & a delightfully unbuttoned Audrey Hepburn for the twenty-first century."- Booklist   "[Aimee's] two investigations link in a surprising way-there's a really ripping ending-and make for interestingly different and over lapping tension. Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!
