Product Information

#1 New York Times bestselling author Dean Koontz's brilliantly thrilling novel of suspense. In the midst of a raging blizzard, lightning struck on the night Laura Shane was born. And a mysterious blond-haired stranger showed up just in time to save her from dying. Years later, in the wake of another storm, Laura will be saved again. For someone is watching over her. [He creates] characters of unusual richness and depth."-- The Seattle Times "Tumbling, hallucinogenic prose....'Serious' writers...might do well to examine his technique."-- The New York Times Book Review "Lyrical writing and compelling characters...Koontz stands alone."--Associated Press "In every industry there exist 'artists' that are not only unforgettable, but know their craft better than the rest. Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!

  • Gripping

This book has been a top three of Koontz's work. It haunted me to re-read it for years. Watchers being number one. However, find it at the library or a used book store or flea market. This book was shipped from Toledo, Ohio west 266 miles to Glendale, Illinois before it's trek east to New Jersey, where it sat for 5 days, in Pennsylvania only 77 miles away from my location. totally unacceptable shipping process. But the book and story had me wanting to throw the book through a window, while another part wouldn't let me put it down. A must read!!

  • A Dean Koontz Classic!

This was the first Dean Koontz book I ever read, and I've been a fan ever since. I encouraged my mother & sister to read it, & was so enthusiastic about it they did; & they became Koontz fans also! This is an excellent book with a captivating story line and believable characters. It is a very hard to put down book & both times I read it I lost some sleep due to going to bed too late as I just couldn't put it down!! I read this book many years ago & have always wanted to read it again, so when it came up on my ebay search I jumped on it! I think it was even better the second time around! Highly recommended reading.

  • One of the greatest books

If I could, out of a scale of 1-5 I would give this book a solid 10. It is one of the greatest books I have ever read in fiction. Love, loss, tragedy, humor, suspense, drama, action and a dash of sci-fi are all combined in this book. That combined with the expertise story-telling abilities of Koontz delivers a book that cuts right to the quick of life, asks some of the hard questions, and delivers a hard punch (both in the good and the bad) on each and every page. Excellent character structure and development left me hanging on each word even more than the plot, which is a rare thing anymore.

  • A complete engagement !

The paperback was practicaly perfect. A page turner I couldn't put it down.
