    Disappointing

    I was super-excited to get my copy. I was led to believe that this book combined the essential knowledge of traditional letterpress practices with the new photopolymer techniques. It did combine those -- but it was so poorly done that I'm saddened that I spent the money. If you are on any of the letterpress forums online or read the tutorials on the major sites (boxcar, briar press etc) then you will surpass this book and will have saved your money. It seems like almost all of the traditional letterpress material in the book was lifted, bad writing, grammar and all, from some old out of print text. Not kidding, I really think it's just repurposed material except for a brief, also poorly done part on modern techniques. I read it, put it on the shelf and will probably never open the ...
