Reviews
PRAISE FOR DAN JONES : 'A historian who writes as addictively as any page-turning novelist' Observer (on The Templars ). 'A gripping page-turner ... Genuinely moving and a chilling contemporary warning about the abuse of power through persecution and lies' Philippa Gregory (on The Templars ). 'Dan Jones has a terrific eye for humanising stories and telling details ... His book is packed with moments that make you stop in your tracks' Telegraph (on A Realm Divided ). 'Each Dan Jones book is impressively researched and beautifully written. He's a passionate writer, a rumbustious knight who loves his own literary crusade' The Times . 'Voyages, battles, sieges and slaughter: a dramatic history that brings the Crusades to fresh and compelling life' Sunday Times (on Crusaders )., "Dan Jones is best known for his epic histories, which makes his first foray into fiction a surprising but effective change of direction. He has adapted a medieval tale of the supernatural (which was transcribed from the Latin by MR James in 1922); his tight, chilling account of an unsuspecting tailor and the terrifying shenanigans in which he is embroiled compares favourably with James's own ghost stories, the author's grasp of historical detail giving it welcome verisimilitude" -- Observer "An interesting glimpse into a world that almost reads as Fantasy today. I found that the origins and background to the story were as intriguing as the story itself, which creates a nice little shiver and then allows the reader to move on. One for readers looking for a brief, classic read at Halloween" -- SFF World "Atmospheric chamber piece" -- BBC History Magazine "Put another log on the hearth (or its nearest 21st-century equivalent) and settle in for Dan Jones's eerie, evocative retelling of a medieval ghost story" -- History Revealed "A chilling yarn" -- The Tablet "This is a great story and has grown in the telling" -- The Ampleforth Journal

Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!
