    The Land That Time Forgot

    The Land That Time Forgot Great Science Fiction by one of the best writers of the 20th Century. This book is the first in his Caspak trilogy (The People That Time Forgot & Out of Time’s Abyss). In this novel, Burroughs tells the story of Bowen J. Tyler, a passenger on a ship that is sunk in the English Channel by a German U-Boat. Tyler is saved by a Tug boat that is also sunk but the crew manage to capture a sub when it surfaces. The crew members eventually end up finding a fresh water current that leads to a submerged cave and from that cave to the Lost World where strange creatures live and primitive humans. Burroughs tells this story in a way that captures the attention of the reader. This is a great read and highly recommended.
