    New Life for Old Boards

    I do not write every review they ask me to. Only if there is cause. This particular memory set made a marked improvement in the performance of my older core 2 quad board running a Q9400 cpu. In fact the windows 7 score jumper .4 points. I notice that my design programs open, run and render much faster than the high performance DDR (4 GB) I previously had installed. The ram is not being overclocked, IS not cooled by heat spreaders or fans and is flawless. If this is compatible with your MOBO, I highly recommend it, especially at the price I paid.

    Low profile, matched set works great in HTPC build.

    I installed these into an older Intel socket 775 (DG45ID) motherboard which I mounted in a half-height HTPC case with some cable management & clearance limitations. They created some clearance for DVD drive cabling & are running smooth in dual channel. They also worked flawlessly in a Dell Optiplex 760 tower. Very pleased with stability & performance. Also, a great price for 2GB modules of DDR2 memory.

    Great for the cost

    I needed to update my sons desktop with more ram and this was the one that I chose. Worked with out a hitch and he is now running a little faster and doing the job very well.
