Happy with the DVD, HOWEVER, it was not the Widescreen edition, as stated in the listing. But still works fine for a three year old and she doesn't know the difference.

This is How its Supposed to Be
This is a must see with the kids. The family saw this one at the theatre and now we own the DVD. The kids will love George's silly antics, which always gets him into trouble, but also brings out the best in Ted, the man with the yellow hat, when Ted comes to save him. At one point, Ted realizes just how much he is missing in his life without George, and this brings his life to a slow crawl until he can find him again. This movie makes one think just how we spend the precious little time we have with our children and how if we can get out of our adult world of thinking, and be present with our kids, we can get closer to them...In the words of Jack Johnson, "This is how its supposed to be..."This is a must see with the kids. An overall cute movie
My kids were so excited when I told them that I had ordered this movie. They love to watch Curious George on PBS. It's about Curious George, a monkey, and how he gets into trouble, but eventually saves the day. My kids were glued the first half of the show, but lost interest after that. I'm not sure if it was just too long, or if the movie was too slow for them. But, in any case, it was cute, but not excellent in my opinion.My kids were so excited when I told them that I had ordered this movie. They love to watch Curious George on PBS. Great movie for the whole family
First...these reviews are supposed to be about the product, not the ebay sales experience. It's too bad that some people's negative ratings reflect a poor experience with bad sellers and not the movie. This movie is great! My son is 2 1/2 years old and can sit through the entire thing. At times, he laughs out loud...huge, belly laughs. I enjoyed it too. Curious George was a part of my life as a child, and I love being able to share this with my son now...in a modern way. I'm sure that we will enjoy this for many years to come.First...these reviews are supposed to be about the product, not the ebay sales experience. Must have for kids of all ages!!!
I grew up watching Curious George and find myself reminiscing when I watch this - you can even catch that childish smile on my face. Jack Johnson lends an excellent soundtrack to Curious George and Will Ferrell's "man in the yellow hat". I am happy this holiday season to be passing on this movie to my two year old neice as she reacts to the music, bright colors and pulls of emotion in this classic come to modern day life.I grew up watching Curious George and find myself reminiscing when I watch this - you can even catch that childish smile on my face. Jack Johnson lends an excellent soundtrack to Curious George and Will Ferrell's "man in the yellow hat". I am happy this holiday season to be passing on this movie to my two year old neice as she reacts to the music, bright colors and pulls of emotion in this classic come to modern day life.
