    Windows 10

Windows 10 is good. It boots faster, and can be setup for greater efficiency. Some of the negatives are the name changes for the regularly used functions and programs as well as initial finding of most common uses of PCs. These include names like (programs now apps) While similar in definition it is not a term typical for computers more oriented for phone and other small mobile devices. Finding control panel, or items that use to be in My computer are now in File Explorer or other areas. You will eventually find what your looking for but maybe developers should have asked non-IT businesses what they thought of the name and operational changes, they may have come up with better more user friendly product.

    Don't like it.

Good program, but I still like the set up in Windows 7, it seems that trying to get used to the the way you get to programs, is a round about way. Windows 7 was a more friendly system, and a lot easier to understand. The old addage if its not broke don't fix it. Example, run was very easy to find, now you have to go all over the place to find it. Don't keep moving programs around, leave them where they were. The desktop in 7 was neat and clean, now you got tiles covering up the w hole page. The face of 10 does not look that good. Just my opinion.

  • windows 10 system

This system is of an earlier year it took nearly five hours of updates and installments to bring operating system and version in complience with windows security. apps. and features took additional 6 hours of up dating , but other wise system is OK. System build is ok but should be muth later version ! Thanks: dnk1947.

  • I started with Winodws 1.0 back in 1986 and this is by far the easiest install I've every done. I date from the CPM days so I've done my share.

I reluctantly moved to Win 10 Pro I was plenty comfortable with Win 7 Pro and being retired now I had no real need for any more power or bells and whistles but it was obvious that 7 was falling behind on the web. I took the leap and while I'm still adapting and there are things they changed that didn't need changing and some things they only made a bit worse. Windows has always tried to be too much of a swiss army knife if you ask me. That said, the install/upgrade was the easiest I've done with any software since I started messing with computers in the late 70's. Inserted the DVD hit execute and within less than an hour it had overwritten my Win 7 Pro install, transferred almost all of my settings and files with very few and unimportant exceptions and had me up an running again as if it ...

  • So Easy! A Skeptic Now A Believer!

I've never purchased a OEM key off the internet. I found a computer out on the street and replaced the harddrive and a few other components. I wanted to use the CPU to do project crunching via BOINC. I needed an operating system and after getting fed up with Linux, I decided to purchase a Windows key. I was looking at SCDKEY, but saw keys available on eBay for even cheaper. Seeing the reliable reviews for this seller, I took a leap of faith and purchased. The key worked without any issue and I've got Windows 10 64-bit now running on this "trash project" computer. Awesome!
