Great product and arrived quickly. Packaged well, however, the rear coverart was liquid damaged, which wasn't clear in the photos. I would recommend this seller, but ask for better pictures of any potential imperfections.

  • Excellent Remake of a Classic Childrens Story

In this remake of the classic children's story by Maurice Sendak. Director Spike Jonze teams up with writer Dave Eggers to bring this tale to life. Max (Maxwell Records) is a free spirited boy who's imagination takes him on a wonderful journey to an island across the ocean where Max convinces the Wild Things on the Island that he is their King. The movie received some criticism for being to violent and scary for it targeted audience of children. It also received a lot of praise for it's originality and adaptation. I believe the movie is very appropriate for some children, but parents should use caution when showing this version of the movie to younger children. I would say not suitable for anyone under 10-12 depending on how mature they are. There are some very disturbing images in ...

  • Deeper Than Expected...

I can't even remember how many times I've heard kids (including myself and my siblings) say they're going to run away and never come back. This is one amazing tale of what happens when one out of control boy does just that and finds himself commiserating with his mother when forced into a role of power over creatures even wilder than himself. There is a real feeling of danger in this movie as Max moves among the "Wild Things". Truly, they have portrayed the creatures in this movie as far more daunting than the book ever did. I know this is originally a children's tale, but with the complicated feelings and relationships in this movie, I feel this is like the adult version, just for us adults who grew up on the book. I think I cried for the last fifteen minutes of the movie! I loved the ...

  • Awful Movie

I hated the movie and think it is too violent for children. The part when one of the creatures gets angry and tears his friend's arm off, was horrid to watch. Not only that, it seems like it was showing kids that it is okay to act out, be destructive, that running away from home can be an adventure etc. etc. Anyone that likes the movie and can't see anything wrong with it, show try watching it through the eyes of a child. The movie even had a depressing feel about it, with a boring story line. Don't waste your money on this movie, and for goodness sake, don't let your children watch it. I was very disgusted with it.
