  • For the true Edie fan!

The book is amazing and full of interviews with the people who knew Edie. It also has some factual information about her and her life growing up and at 'The Factory'. It is just full of photos that I personally have never seen before. Some are of her as a child, others on the set of her last film "Ciao! Manhattan" and with Andy and his gang. This is a must for any Edie Sedgwick/Andy Warhol/60's Pop Culture lover! And if your lucky you can get your hands on an original 1982 first copy, because it has more photos that were edited out in later publications!

  • A treasure of a book!!

I have been looking for a decent copy of this great book for months! I used to have a paper back edition, but a friend borrowed it,and I never saw it again. This book is a must for all edie/Warhol/Factory/ fans! It is one of the best books I have in my collection, and I am reading it again, and again, and again...... its a cult classic! And if you can find a first edition (or 1982 Hardback) you will get many more amazing pictures to enjoy!! Its a highly collectible book also.

  • Inaccurate description.

As shown in the pictures, i was promised to be shipped with the original hardcover with the original plastic book cover intact. This was not true. The original plastic book cover was not attached. No picture on front of the book.

I got this book for my sister who is an avid Edie Sedgewick fan.It was in nice condition,a very good price, and while I don't know that its rare,it was the only one that day amongst a bunch of Edie and Andy Warhol memorabilia.I love that about Ebay, you can always find the obscure, thoughtful, just because you're my sister kinds of gifts that is affordable.Thanx Ebay!
