It's Potty Time in our house for sure!
Awful acting, outdated clothing, somewhat annoying songs, yadda yadda... but progress speaks louder than bad acting. My daughter was wearing big-girl underpants in less that a week after watching this movie - I'm not talking about pull-ups, I'm talking REAL cotton underpants! It totally got her excited about going to the potty. She LOVES the songs and wants them sung to her while she is pottying... hey singing a song or changing diapers... personally I'd rather sing. Even my 4 year old got into and it helped reinforce what she already knows. The focus of the movie is NOT pottying, it is a birthday party, but the point is that pottying is an everyday part of everyone's lives. It has a song for boys which I'm told not all potty movies do (we have all girls so I don't know). It reminds ... It's Potty Time WORKS
I bought this video because I needed a second copy! My original copy is loaned out so many times that I forget who has it! I bought this video originally 15 or 16 years ago when my twins were 3 or 4 years old. The reason being one of my twins has cerebral palsy and we could not get him trained like his brother for nothing. The pediatrician told us he didn't have the muscle control to potty train and I told him I would prove him wrong and I did! I happen to visit a local store that was going out of business and I strolled into the baby department and there was this video sitting in a rack by the register. So I thought it is worth a try and it is all set to music and my son loves music. I took it home and played it for him and immediately following the video my son looked at me and ... It will amaze you how much children love this...
My sister used to watch this movie all the time, even long after she was potty trained. We rented the movie so much, the video store ended up giving it to us. She would take it to the babysitter's house to help train the other children. Even years later I bet I can still sing some of the songs...

Hope it works!
I've heard great potty training sucess stories about this movie. I hope it works for my son. It doesn't focus as much on the actual "going potty" stuff as I thought it would, but it still holds my son's interest. I guess we'll see how it goes!

It's Potty Time
The video is very hokey, but my kids LOVE to watch it. The potty songs stick in your head, and I feel it has helped my 2 1/2 year old begin to use the potty.
