Good Retro Farce
This film was Robert Wuhl's best comedic performance of his career. A lot of people have never seen this movie. If you liked "American Grafitti" or "American Hot Wax", check this movie out! Michelle Pfeiffer,and Tony Danza as teenagers. A keeper for me.

One of my all time favorite movies.
I have loved this movie since the first time I watched it as a teenager.One of the great,sometimes overlooked and forgoten comedy films of the 80's(man,sometimes I really miss the 80's).The comedy of this film falls in the vein of "Animal House" and "Porkys"(two other fantastic comedys),so the humor is not for everyone.But I love it.The story follows the Hollywood Knights a sort of "gang" who like to pull off practical jokes.Enraged by the Beverly Hills Homeowners Association's decision to close down their favourite drive-in "Tubby's", launch a prolonged comic assault on the uptight association and two bumbling local police officers. The ensuing antics include: a sexual encounter involving premature ejaculation, a punch bowl being "spiked" with urine, an initiation ceremony involving comic ... This scene defies written description and must be viewed to be fully enjoyed.Raunchy comedy yes,but hilarious. This film stars a cast of young actors who would achieve greater fame(some more than others) in the years after the movie,such as :Michelle Pfeiffer,Robert Wuhl,Tony Danza,and Fran Drescher.Give it a try.

It's 1965 in Beverly Hills and the local car club, the Hollywood Knights, is spending their last night at the local drive-in hangout .. Tubby's. Tubby's has been considered the scourge of Beverly Hills by the local group of concerned citizens who have made it their task to rid themselves of the Hollywood Knights and after tonight, Tubby's will be torn down, to be replaced by office buildings. If you're over 50, or love the music of the 60's, or simply remember what it's like to be young, this film is worth the few bucks and 90 minutes of your time. If you're offended by fart jokes, sexual innuendoes and immature humor ... don't bother. You'll probably be offended. But if you can take yourself back to 1965 and remember what it was like cruising the drive-ins, listening to music and ... It's 1965 in Beverly Hills and the local car club, the Hollywood Knights, is spending their last night at the local drive-in hangout .. Tubby's. Fun filled memories of times past
This movie is a wonderful vehicle to forget all the problems we face in this day and age. It takes a relaxed sense of humor to enjoy the antics in this show, but it also brings back memories of life in a less hectic era. I personally can relate to the laid back days, and fun times depicted in this movie, even though some of the events are a little over the top. All in all this is a very amusing movie full of great music from the past, and especially entertaining if you are from the babyboomer era. I give this movie a five star review, but I also warn that it takes a relaxed sense of humor to truly enjoy it.This movie is a wonderful vehicle to forget all the problems we face in this day and age.
